Power Setup When connecting +12VDC to your STAR-Light, there are two critical considerations to ensure proper operation: Polarity:
Red (Positive) cable: Must be connected to the right terminal. Black (Negative) cable: Must be connected to the left terminal. Cable Size:
The recommended cable size is 6 mm² to ensure safe and efficient power delivery. 2. Use either the Canbus keypad or StarSwitch Btn to control the chosen channel. 3. If applicable, adjust settings with StarTouch by rotating the encoder to the right option. 4. Hold down buttons 4 and 3 for more than 5 seconds to go to normal mode. Channel Setup T he STAR-Light system supports up to twelve (12) individual channels, each of which offers distinct features and configuration options. After selecting the desired channel, you can assign a custom label through the system’s web-based interface. In addition, when configuring the switch settings, you may specify whether the channel operates in a positive or negative switching mode. This selection can be made directly within the web-based configu- ration tool, as illustrated below:
Channels 1–12, polarity settings and Channel designation.
Channels 1–4 and 9–12 are dimmable and support both positive and negative switching.
Channels 5-8 are non-dimmable and support both positive and negative switching.
