SMART SWITCHING 12V MOTOR CONTROL

12V Motor Control of Awnings, slide-outs with Blue controller installed:

There can be just one motor controlled device per smart IO board It can use 2 switches for up/down or in/out control.

When the button is pressed the motor control begins. Taking your finger off will stop operation.

When selecting the opposite control button, the motor control polarity reverses and the 2 output wires switch polarity.

Relays are always engaged and only relays 1 and 2 are used. These relays are type C.

• Pin J1,J2 to 1-2;

• Pin J4, J5 to 2-3.

• Fuse F1, F2, are put in place;

• R1-2 and R2-2 are connected to negative. Easiest way to to run a lead to top of Switch 12V -ve

12VDC Motor control Wiring is to R1-1 and R2-1 ONLY.

These outputs do not operate at the same time. These outputs reverse polarity for a turning DC motor. Output1 is 12+ve for one motor direction and Output 2 is 12V+ for the other direction.

• When Input 1 is active from switch Relay 1 closes from NO to Closed and R1-1 becomes 12V+. R2-1 is negative. • When Input 2 is active from switch Relay 2 closes from NO to Closed and R2-1 becomes 12V+. R1-1 is negative.

• Limit Switch inputs are wired on I1, I2 and to negative.

Temperature input can be directly dired in so that the awning can operate automatically if temperature rises or falls.

One Smart Switch:

One Motor Control • Raise Left Up • Lower Left

• Will control 2 motor control smart IO. • 2 buttons used for each motor control per switch • May be vertical pair OR horizontal pair.

Second Motor Control • Raise Right Up • Lower Right

• May have a second

(duplicate) switch located elsewhere that connects to same controller
