Adding Matter Devices to Your Network Method 1: Through Your Primary Platform 1. Commission the device to Apple Home, Google Home, etc. 2. The device automatically appears on the Matter fabric. 3. STAR Controllers can now trigger actions based on that device. Method 2: Direct to STAR Controller 1. Open the Safiery app and connect to your STAR Controller. 2. Navigate to Matter Devices → Add Device . 3. Scan the device's Matter QR code. 4. The device pairs directly with your STAR system. Creating Cross-Device Automations In the Safiery app: 1. Go to Automations → New Rule . 2. Select a Matter device as the trigger (e.g., "IKEA Motion Sensor"). 3. Set the condition (e.g., "Motion Detected"). 4. Choose STAR channel actions (e.g., "Turn on Salon Light to 80%"). 5. Save.
